No Surprises Act and Transparency in Coverage

No Surprises Act (NSA)
The No Surprises Act (NSA) became effective July 1, 2022 for all eligible participants and their covered dependents of the Welfare Fund.  The Summary of Material Modifications (SMM) provides additional information regarding the NSA.

Transparency in Coverage - Machine Readable Files
The Transparency in Coverage Final Rule requires disclosure of the negotiated rates with in-network providers and the historic allowed amounts paid to out-of-network providers, for all health plans available to employers.
